The Super Cab affords about 40 inches of rear headroom and 34 inches of second-row legroom and does not provide independent ingress/egress for rear passengers. The SuperCrew, on the other hand, does afford independent ingress/egress along with about 44 inches of rear legroom, which is enough for even larger adults to stretch out.

Most F-150 trim levels include rear-wheel drive as standard equipment and offer four-wheel drive as an option. The exception is the Raptor, which is only available with four-wheel drive. The base equipment includes trailer sway damping and pre-wired trailer connections. Starting with the Lariat, Class IV trailering equipment becomes standard as well. The Lariat also adds remote start and remote tailgate release. With the King Ranch, an integrated trailer brake controller becomes standard. The Tremor has an off-road suspension and locking rear differential, and the Raptor has a unique suspension as well.

There is also a hybrid powertrain based on the 3.5-liter V6—430 hp and 570 pound-feet—and exclusive to the Raptor is a high-output version of that V6 that puts out 450 hp and 510 pound-feet.

The King Rach adds smart cruise control and evasive steering assist. The Limited upgrades the rearview monitor with a 360-degree camera.
